The Literacy Alliance helps individuals ages 16 and up improve their literacy skills, offering personalized programs for goals like job advancement or personal enrichment. The Adult Education program typically caters to native English speakers needing to enhance their reading, writing, math, or computer skills. These weekly classes offer students a variety of class options such as:

  1. Small Group Classes: These classes create a collaborative environment where students can engage with peers while focusing on specific areas of improvement. They offer the opportunity for interactive learning and discussion.
  2. Tech-Based Instruction: Utilizing the latest educational technology, these classes provide students with digital literacy skills. They cover essential computer skills, from basic operations to more advanced tasks, ensuring participants are equipped for the modern workplace.
  3. One-on-One Tutoring: Personalized attention is given through one-on-one sessions, allowing tutors to tailor their teaching methods to each student's individual needs and learning pace. This personalized approach helps maximize progress in literacy and numeracy skills.

Together, these components provide a comprehensive and supportive learning experience designed to meet the diverse needs of adult learners.
