Backyard Beekeeping in Florida In-Person
Come to the library to learn all about beekeeping! Susan Welch, owner of Blue Barn Honey, member of Clay County Beekeepers Association, and leader of the Clay County 4H Stingers will present this interactive program. Children will learn about the importance of bees to our ecosystem and will be allowed to try on a bee keeping suit and sample honey. Weather permitting, children will also be able to go outside and see a beehive.
This program is intended for kids ages 5-11.
