Hour of Code

Hour of Code In-Person

Come join us in this annual global event during Computer Science Education Week called The Hour of Code. This event is a one-hour introduction to computer science where young adults can participate in a one-hour game coding challenge. You will learn the basics of computer coding by playing some of your favorite games. From building worlds in Minecraft to solving puzzles with Angry Birds, coding a snow adventure with Frozen, battling droids in Star Wars, or outsmarting zombies in Plants vs. Zombies, you will explore how games are powered by code. No prior experience is needed, just bring your love of gaming!
